President Biden’s cancellation, due to domestic political factors in the United States, was a big embarrassment for Mr Albanese, who had confirmed Mr Biden’s attendance just hours earlier.“I am pleased that President Biden is able to take up my invitation to address parliament,” the prime minister said in a statement issued Tuesday night.But overnight, Mr Biden cancelled both his trip to Australia and a visit to Papua New Guinea on Monday, alongside Mr Modi.
