Sydney Roosters head coach Trent Robinson and his wife have both suffered injuries in a BBQ gas bottle explosion while the pair were cooking dinner at the property of a former NRL player.
The head coach was reportedly kept in hospital for two nights as a precaution, while Sandra was released after one night. He told The Sydney Morning Herald the group smelt a gas odour about an hour after finishing dinner, prompting Robinson to go and check it out. Quayle praised the work of the hospital and emergency service workers, particularly given the rural location of the property. He said the rescue helicopter was deployed as a precaution.
