The east clocked up $110m worth of sales in just two transactions last week with speculation the $69m and circa $40m deal are linked.
Property records show the 1930s home at 49 Wunulla Rd is owned by Rebecca Lacey, the wife of businessman Simon Ehrlich, who bought it for $10.5m in 2004.That sale, reported by the Wentworth Courier online on Friday, also involved Ray White Double Bay’s Elliott Placks and Alan Fettes, and is one of Sydney’s biggest ever deals.
The 1270sq m property has been in the Bracey family for 84 years, having been bought by Horace Edward Pearce Bracey for the equivalent of $4220 in 1939.
