The adult entertainment mogul Con Ange is dying. His precarious hold on life is sustained by only one thing: retribution.
Sydney’s “king of porn” draws rattling breaths from an oxygen ventilator in his bedroom – a cruel disease slowly has eroded his body and transformed his trophy home into a marble-lined hospital.
Ange, at his zenith, was the largest distributor of pornography on Australia’s east coast. The success opened doors to the rich and famous, but being the city’s “porn tsar” came with inevitable notoriety.Former associates faced questions about NRL match-fixing, but Ange was never implicated and always insisted he was
“When I caught her stealing, the stress it caused me in my early stages of MND was unimaginable,” Ange said.Ange launched a lawsuit in the NSW Supreme Court the following year, hoping to claw back $1 million he claims was taken by Lozzi, alleging she “by dishonestly and fraudulent design, breached one or more fiduciary duties” owed to her erstwhile boss and his network of adult stores.
Both Lozzi and Dorrell, in their own court documents, say the payments were approved. They deny wrongdoing. Court documents reveal Lozzi and Dorrell live a few minutes’ drive away, renting a $2 million waterfront art-deco apartment in Point Piper, where numerous billionaires, tycoons and scions call home.
