Penrith in Western Sydney came in eighth for the most poker machine losses in a metro NSW area, or a whopping $63.6 million.The growing urban centre of Parramatta ranked seventh with $71.7 million in poker machine losses during the third quarter.That's the second most machines per person number for an LGA on this list.The Georges River LGA in Sydney's south came in sixth by a fraction, with $71.78 million in losses for the July-September period. That's $779,449 in daily losses across 2091 electronic gaming machines on its 31 different poker machine premises. Blacktown The Blacktown LGA in north-western Sydney saw a whopping $102.1 million in poker machine losses for the period, a dramatic jump from the previous rank on this list. On average, people lost a combined $1.1 million to gambling every day across 2919 electronic games machines.Home to more poker machine premises than any other LGA on this list, Sydney city saw $103.5 million in losses for the July-September period, or $1.11 million combined daily losses.The Cumberland LGA in western Sydney falls third on the list with $133.2 million poker machine losses for the third quarter of the year.In the western Sydney LGA of Fairfield, people lost $173.6 million between July and September, or $1.8 million daily
