A combination of major concerts, sporting events and World Pride festivities has primed Sydney for one of its biggest weekends since the 2000 Olympics. 7NEWS
More than 100,000 people are expected at Sydney’s Olympic Park on Saturday night for Harry Styles ‘Love on Tour’ concert, while the Backstreet Boys and Jay Chou are also performing within the precinct.“There’ll be heavy traffic and limited parking,”A further 50,000 people are taking part in the World Pride March across the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Sunday morning, ahead of a closing party in The Domain.
Oxford Street will be closed in both directions between College Street and Flinders Street until 4.30am on Monday March 6, due to a Sydney World Pride street party. “If you need to travel, you’ll be diverted via Kings Cross or Surry Hills,” Live Traffic Sydney said..Special event clearway parking restrictions will also be in full effect over the weekend in the CBD on Oxford St, Flinders St, Forbes St, Albion St, Crown St, Liverpool St, South Dowling St, Wentworth Ave and surrounding local roads.Your cookie settings are preventing this third party content from displaying.
