The cantina crispy melt taco, which features a fried, white corn tortilla shell, a smidge of velvety nacho cheese, seasoned ground beef and the accoutrements of iceberg lettuce strands, sour cream, chopped tomatoes and three kinds of cheese, first debuted in 2021.
The debut of the cantina crispy melt taco only lasted a few months in the fall of 2021. First spotted on menus in October, the item was silently removed by winter 2022. It received acclaim from Taco Bell stans across Reddit two years ago for its nostalgia-inducing texture.
