NRL: Cooper Cronk has explained the 'two things the Sharks need to dominate in', if they are to upset the Penrith Panthers
Week three of the finals is here with four teams battling it out for a place in the 2024 NRL Grand Final .
The Roosters and Sharks will be full of confidence after their convincing wins over Manly and the Cowboys respectively, and Cronk says both sides can cause the Storm and Panthers some serious headaches.“Sharks and the Roosters their best football to do it. Cronulla were sensational in last week’s 26-18 win over the Cowboys on the back of a Braydon Trindall masterclass. “There’s two things where the Sharks need to dominate. They need to stop Panthers’ back three from being the metre-eaters and the energy givers to that Panthers team,” he said. “On the flip side for them to score points I think they need to bring in their outside backs. We spoke about playing north south but when Cronulla shift the ball from coast to coast and have that let’s call fullback mentality of Hynes, Trindall, Kennedy doing things like that that’s the key.
