Tag Heuer is selling two Mario Kart watches, priced at over $25,000 and $4,000.
TAG Heuer Formula 1 x Mario Kart Limited EditionThe Tourbillon Chronograph is the more premium product of the two, costing $25,600 / £21,250 and limited to 250 in total.TAG Heuer Formula 1 X Mario Kart Limited Edition Chronograph Tourbillon WatchThe $25,600 Tourbillon Chronograph has a 45mm case made of grade 5 titanium, has a “distinctive black polished ceramic bezel” and features a “skeletonised tri-compax dial showcasing moving Mario Kart elements”, according to Tag Heuer.
The back of the case is also made of custom sapphire glass, letting the wearer see the “ultra-precise COSC-certififed Heuer 02T movement” inside the watch. The $4,300 Chronograph, on the other hand, has a 44mm case made of polished steel, a “black ceramic tachymeter bezel” showing the Mario Kart logo and a “permanent seconds indicator [which] shows Mario on custom asphalt textured sub-counters”.
This is the second time Tag Heuer has collaborated with Nintendo.
