It is filled with twists and turns as the mystery unravels in truly surprising ways. Fans can see this film in theaters now, and it will be able to stream on Netflix starting January 6.
Stars Talk The Pale Blue Eye Screen Rant: How hard was it to keep the ending from being obvious while giving subtle hints? We tested the boundaries of that. I would do some takes, and Scott would say, "Eh, that might have been a little bit too much." Others were a lot more subtle, and he really put it together like he was playing chess in the edit room. Harry Melling: When I read it, I felt like I had an idea of what I wanted to offer, which is always a great start.
Christian [Bale] is one of my favorite actors, and has been for a long time. Scott Cooper is a brilliant director, and it's surprising what areas he covers. He's a man of great talent and great general interest. Brennan Keel Cook: He's a leader. He's a leader on set. We were in subzero temperatures with windchill, and we were all huddled around the heaters out there. And Christian was out there with no gloves on; out there on set and ready to go while letting us have the heat.
