It went on to accuse Mr Robert of “consistently and repeatedly” failing to respond to fundamental issues raised since early 2021, which “calls into question the genuineness” of the government’s commitment to a deal.understands Mr Robert has cancelled three meetings of skills ministers, including one scheduled for Friday. Sources said with the election campaign set to begin within days, there was little prospect of signing off on a deal by the current June 2022 timeline.
He said at the time he would offer increased funding if the states adopted a similar model to the hospital funding the Commonwealth provides, which is activity-based and operates on an efficient price for each service.
