“My drive and desire to design is ingrained within me; I can’t see myself doing anything else nor was I good at anything else as my head was always elsewhere!”, Hakin, who hails from Donaghadee, a small town just outside of Belfast, spent time ruminating on what she could contribute to such an oversaturated market. “I felt quite lost before the pandemic, and it showed,” she recalls.
