Taron Egerton drops out of West End play co-starring Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey
"As some of you may have heard, I passed out during the first performance oflast night," he began."I am completely fine. Slightly sore neck and a bruised ego but I'm fine."
After promising fans he would be"back with a vengeance" in upcoming nights, he thanked his understudy Harper-Jackson for stepping in. "I wanted to say thanks to Joel Harper-Jackson who stepped in to do the last bit of the play. Joel is an amazing actor and a lovely person. Thank you Joel," Egerton's statement concluded.Elsewhere, Egerton will next be seen in the movie
