Tasmania will scrap its COVID-19 close contact quarantine rules from Monday, with household contacts no longer required to self-isolate for seven days.

From 12:01am on May 2, close contacts of positive cases will be free to leave isolation provided they complete a daily rapid antigen test and have no symptoms.
