ANALYSIS: Tasmanian Premier faces spot fires everywhere as public sector strike action looms
Child safety officers will launch strike action next week after 97 per cent of members voted in favour of industrial action.
And it says the bulk of public servants could also ramp up industrial action as soon as next month unless there's a satisfactory government response to the more than 100 claims its members have put forward.Paramedics will walk off the job in Hobart on Thursday evening, protesting a lack of progress on talks over pay and conditions, while the Australian Education Union staged industrial action in Launceston on Wednesday.
And while some resourcing issues have immediate fixes, others will take much longer to solve: requiring unions to have faith that they will be delivered if they are to sign off on an agreement.
