Tickets for the new shows will go on sale on Friday, June 30, along with remaining tickets from the previously announced shows. Tour promoters Frontier Touring said the announcement of two more shows came after "historically unprecedented demand" for tickets in this week's pre-sales.Frontier Touring said the additional shows meant Swift would be the first artist since Madonna to play three consecutive shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and the first artist ever to perform four straight concerts at Sydney's Accor Stadium.
Swift sparked a ticket frenzy across Australia this week, as more than 800,000 fans queued online for a chance to see her perform. The 2024 tour will be the singer's first Australian tour since 2018, and only includes shows in Melbourne and Sydney., the chair of a venue management firm said earlier this month.
