It is believed the numbers in the online queue for tickets set an all-time record for Ticketek with 4 million Aussies attempting to get in on the sale around the country.
"Some price categories are close to selling out, we recommend trying other price categories," Ticketek said in a tweet shared at 11.05am. With nearly double the number of people waiting in the online queue to purchase the tickets, hundreds of thousands of people will likely miss out in today's Frontier Touring presale. There are approximately 450,000 tickets available across the performances in Sydney and Melbourne.
There will still be one more chance for fans to secure their tickets on Friday's general sale, but it remains unclear how many tickets will be left.
