Per iHeartRadio’s press release, the Innovator Award is bestowed on an artist who has “impacted global pop culture throughout their career.” Past recipients include Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, U2, Bruno Mars, Chance the Rapper and Alicia Keys.
