Taylor Swift reveals awkward Les Misérables audition with Eddie Redmayne
Explaining how this wasn't the first time the duo had met, Swift said:"I once died in his arms in a screen test forGraham Norton"didn't like" being on BBC's top earners list as he talks moving to Virgin Radio
"Basically I was auditioning for two roles... I think it had been established that I had more of the look of Cosette and the range vocally of Éponine, so it was established I was there for a good time but not for a long time, I wasn’t going to get the role. But, they were like, you know, would I go to London for one last screen test.The producers told her that they wanted her to try for the of 19th century street urchin Éponine, which involved painting her teeth brown.
She continued:"I was like, ‘You are going to do that after I meet Eddie Redmayne, right?' They were like, 'No no, everyone's going to meet you with the brown teeth and we're gonna do like big circles under your eyes like you're near death.' I was like: 'This has immediately become a nightmare for me.'"
The singer said that when it came to the audition itself, she mostly spoke in mumbles as she didn't want to open her mouth and reveal her pearly browns to"one of my favourite actors".
