TCL's newest entry into the Aussie tablet market is a welcome one, with their newest piece of technology offering to be an affordable alternative to the big guns. 9News
The TCL TAB 10S is a new big-screen device with excellent battery life, marketed at families and young students, and sold at a great price.
During my review period, I managed to get 10 hours of use. This was spread across five days without charging the device once. I still had 15 per cent left on the battery before I charged it again. Perfect for families, the TCL TAB 10S supports multi-user accounts on the device. Each profile can be customised to suit the user, whether it's a child or perhaps a house guest, in addition to the main user account.
You can swipe to type, which is simple enough on mobile, but it's difficult to grasp the swipe technique with a screen so large. If you do prefer to use the swipe technique, I'd suggest popping out the keyboard by tapping the icon sitting just above the Y and U keys.Besides the obvious, when you pick up the TCL Tab 10S you'll also receive a case for the tablet that protects your screen with a flap, it also doubles as a stand.
