TCU center Eddie Lampkin Jr. has stepped away from the team to deal with personal matters, reports say.
Eddie Lampkin, a center who is averaging 6.3 points and 5.9 rebounds, has a reputation for laying it all out on the floor, fighting for loose balls, extending plays and refusing to give up on defense.Big 12 tournamentLampkin has dealt with injuries throughout the course of the season, starting in 19 of 31 games. Last season, Lampkin started in 32 of 33 games.
For now, center Xavier Cork is set to have an increased role in the Frogs’ first postseason contest against Kansas State at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
