The General Teaching Council for Scotland hearing into claims the teacher supplied drugs and acted inappropriately to the young girl is schedule to get underway today.
It is claimed the so-far unnamed secondary school worker provided the class A drug, took it himself in front of the girl and spent time with her in a gents toilet at the event.
The then Dunoon High teacher is accused of professional misconduct at the Gig on the Goil festival at Lochghoilhead in May 2019. The GTCS also allege that when his behaviour at the music festival was reported to police, the teacher contacted the girl's mother to discourage her from providing a truthful statement.
