Ted Lasso’s Roy Kent actor Brett Goldstein returns to Sesame Street for a game of hide-and-seek. Apple TV+’s comedy Ted Lasso has boosted the careers of many of its cast members, but no one has broken out more than Goldstein, who plays foul-mouthed AFC Richmond player-turned-coach Roy Kent. Goldstein has indeed become so ubiquitous that he’s even made his way to Sesame Street, where last year he met his match in Oscar the Grouch.
Goldstein’s experience with the gang on Sesame Street must have been a happy one for him, because the actor has returned to the famous children’s show for another go around. SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In a just-posted new video, the Roy Kent actor is seen discussing different kinds of games with Elmo and Grover, before engaging them in a round of hide-and-seek. The clip also includes an appearance by the aforementioned Oscar the Grouch.
Then there’s the character of Ted Lasso himself, who in season 2 experienced a breakthrough regarding his mental health situation, and finally began facing up to his tragic past. Whatever ends up happening with all these characters and their relationships, it will need to reach resolution in the upcoming run of episodes, because Ted Lasso is indeed likely set to conclude with season 3 .
When Does Ted Lasso Season 3 Release Apple TV+ has yet to announce a release date for Ted Lasso season 3, but as the season began filming in 2022, it’s likely that the new episodes will arrive some time in 2023. For a show like Ted Lasso to take two years between seasons does seem a bit excessive, and indeed some of the show’s stars have expressed dismay at the delays.
