A 15-year-old boy who was allegedly behind the wheel of a Camry that fatally crashed in Canberra has now been charged. He allegedly fled the scene with a second occupant in a getaway vehicle, leaving another passenger — a 15-year-old boy who was thrown from the car during the crash — fighting for life on April 17. The car hit a concrete barrier on Adelaide Ave and landed on its roof in the middle of the road.

A 15-year-old boy, alleged to be the driver of the Camry, was charged with manslaughter, leaving the scene without rendering assistance, dangerous driving, unlicensed driving, taking a motor vehicle without consent, driving a stolen motor vehicle, and exceeding the speed limit.
