New South Wales Police have charged a teenage girl for allegedly stabbing her younger sister to death at a home in the Hunter region.

A 17-year-old girl has been charged with murder by police after allegedly stabbing her 10-year-old sister to death, New South Wales Police confirmed. Officers were called to a property in Boolaroo, about 20 kilometres south-west of Newcastle, on Monday about 3:45pm after reports of a stabbing.A 17-year-old at the residence was arrested.
