A forensic crash investigation has been launched, with police calling for witnesses to come forward.No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash.
In a separate incident, two young women were injured when they crashed at Evelyn in the Atherton Tablelands in far north Queensland. The women, one in her 20s and another in her 30s, were in a car that rolled on Tumoulin Rd about 3am on Monday.
