A teenage girl who threatened to bring an AK-47 to her old high school was arrested, as police continue to take school shooter threats seriously.
An 18-year-old girl was arrested in Oklahoma for threatening to shoot up her old high school
The coworker told her manager, who then reported it to police. When officers arrived at Wilson’s house, she told the officers that she “would never” or people and that her co-worker “must have taken what she said wrong.” However, Wilson admitted to feeling “suicidal and borderline homicidal” toward her classmates at McAlester High who bullied her and had thought about harming them “in the past.”
Morris added that while a female shooter is rare, “a female can pull the trigger just as easily as a male,” and that all threats should be handled this seriously.
