The 17-year-old girl allegedly stabbed her younger sister in their home south of Newcastle on Monday night. She has now been charged with murder.
A teenage girl has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing her 10-year-old sister multiple times in their Lake Macquarie home.
When police and paramedics arrived they found the 10-year-old girl with multiple stab wounds. Despite the best efforts of emergency responders, the young girl could not be saved. The 17-year-old, who Nine News reported is the younger girl’s sister, was arrested at the home and taken to Belmont police station as homicide detectives investigated the alleged domestic violence incident.
