They ransacked his address, smashed his TV and locked him in a cupboard

A trio of teenage tearaways terrorised a vulnerable man, forcing their way into his Nottingham home, locking him in a cupboard and attacking him. Nottingham Crown Court heard how Luke Johnson, Brody Lower and Callum Wright-McNee left the 49-year-old vulnerable victim feeling like his “life has been ruined” by the terrifying ordeal they put him through.

And three months later, Johnson carried out a campaign of robberies and thefts against a university student he specifically targeted.Sentencing them all to detention in a youth offender’s institution, Judge Mark Watson said: “Over a period of time you terrorised , damaging his home and damaging his belongings in what might be described as a rampage. You locked him in a cupboard and even when he escaped you continued to chase after him and continued with violence against him.

“He then managed to walk back to his address but later told police he believed the ordeal went on for a number of hours.” Miss Pritchard said the defendants were all arrested and identified by the victim. Miss Pritchard said three months later, in February last year, Johnson carried out a number of thefts and robberies against the same University of Nottingham student who he deliberately identified to get money from and who the judge described as “a soft target” who was “scared of you”.
