A 17-year-old boy has died after a suspected shark attack on the Mid North Coast of NSW on Saturday afternoon.
Witnesses said he was bitten while surfing at Wilsons Headland at Wooli Beach, north of Coffs Harbour, at about 2.30pm.He suffered serious injuries to his legs and was assisted by other surfers, before being taken to shore and given first aid and CPR.Beaches at Wooli, Diggers Camp and Minnie Water have been closed on Saturday afternoon.
