Two Victorian teenagers have faced court in Adelaide charged with breaching South Australia's COVID-19 directions.
They allegedly failed to remain in their medi-hotel rooms and wear masksChol Manjok and Semain Akue Bol, both aged 19, arrived on a flight from Melbourne yesterday as prohibited travellers.it has been alleged they did not comply with directionsThey were arrested and this afternoon the pair faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court via video link from custody, charged with failing to comply with Emergency Management Act directions.
Mr Manjok was also charged with disorderly behaviour and stating false personal details at Adelaide Airport, while Mr Bol was also charged with failing to give his identity to an authorised officer at Adelaide Airport. Neither teenager applied for bail during their brief court hearings and they have been remanded in custody to face court again later this month.
