Parts of Northern Ireland can expect temperatures in the mid-20s

Just when we thought that it was time to pack away our trilbies and flip-flops, the Met Office have served up quite the meteorological surprise - an Indian summer has decided to show it's face over Northern Ireland this week.

Monday is where the fun really starts. The early low cloud or fog will pack up its bags and leave the scene. What's left behind is a dry day with long periods of sunshine.It will feel very warm with a maximum temperature of 24C. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. There's a slight chance of some sea fog on the east coast come Wednesday.
