York County's Temple Beth Israel hosted its first Family Fun Festival, and community members say it couldn't have come at a better time.York County's Temple Beth Israel hosted its first Family Fun Festival on Sunday in celebration of community and togetherness.
“It’s important that we are not huddling in fear. We are strongly out in support of our faith, our community and Israel,” said Rabbi Melody Davis from Temple Beth Israel. Desserts made by members of the temple could also be purchased by attendees, with all money raised going towards the temple and its services.“We can all come together, work together and be one,” Smotkin said.
