Ten Things I Wish I Knew When I Started ‘Borderlands 3’

Borderlands 3 is currently taking the world by storm, but there are a number of very important things you should know before you get started.

It is rare I get this much time with a game before launch, but I had about two and a half weeks with, and I could have put even more time in if I wasn’t worried my saves wouldn’t transfer to the final build .

Past this, without getting into spoilers, toward the end of the game you will get…a device that costs Eridium to pump out random gun drops. Usually they’re bad, but there are chances at golden nuggets there for sure. I would probably wait to do any of this until you’re level 50 in order to avoid spending Eridium on stuff that you will replace, unless you’re just dying for a good drop in a specific slot or damage type.

This is also good advice for elemental types, as it’s usually not an amazing idea to have 2-3 of one elemental type in your arsenal at any given time, unless you’re in an area where youall the enemies are of a certain type . Diversify, though now that’s easier than ever with Maliwan guns which can switch elements.
