Two Tennessee inmates with a history of running from the law were recaptured just hours after they busted out of a county jail this week.
Ronnie Sharp, 48, and Joshua Harris, 40, pried open the ceiling of their Henry County Jail cell, crawled through a skylight on the roof and ran off the prison grounds Monday,Police then believe the duo stole an indiscreet 2006 white Chevy pickup to continue their short-lived escape.
Sharp, however, remained on the lam until the following day when he was discovered in a neighboring county just 30 miles away. Police said Sharp is currently in jail on numerous pending charges including kidnapping, aggravated assault, assault on an officer, evading arrest, theft of property and burglary.
During a physical struggle, Sharp is accused of biting the homeowner before the man held the fugitive in a chokehold.
