A huge part of Melbourne ’s CBD has been brought to a standstill as tens of thousands of construction workers stage a rally supporting the
workers walk off the job for rally. In Melbourne, thousands of workers in high-vis gathered near Trades Hall at 11am on Wednesday and started marching through the city. The protest caused rolling disruptions including to the intersection of Victoria St, Lygon St and Russell St in all directions and La Trobe St. The group are headed to Flagstaff Gardens.
