NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday that NATO nations were prepared should military operations escalate. “Russian forces appear to be taking final positions for a possible attack. If so, they could be able to do it within a matter of days,” said Michael Kofman, Russia studies director at CNA.
