The United States Vice President Mike Pence says he believes it is possible to double the rate of coronavirus testing to 300,000 a day – despite state governors expressing concerns over supply shortages.
Mr Pence echoed the president’s call to reopen the economy and said restrictions could begin to be lifted while many state leaders have expressed concern over the move. Democratic governors have fought back against the motion, saying the administration is delusional to believe it is an appropriate time to begin relaxing lockdown measures. Image: AP
