Non-bank lender La Trobe Financial’s bank syndicate has mailed out pricing guidance for its latest RMBS deal to potential investors, ahead of the launch next week.
Former Collingwood president Eddie McGuire with La Trobe Financial’s former chief executive Greg O’Neil.Investors were told to expect La Trobe Financial Capital Markets Trust 2022-1’s tranches to price at margins ranging 100bps to 420bps above the one-month bank bill swap rate.
The topmost tranche, A1S, had a guidance of 100 to 110bps area above swaps and would have $100 million on offer, followed by $290 million at 175bps margin for A1L. The transaction was slated for launch in the July 25 week and would be followed settlement around August 10. The pool includes non-conforming and prime residential mortgages originated by La Trobe.
The guidance was for $500 million total size, but it could increase depending on demand, according to the book message sent out Friday afternoon.
