But savvy supermarket goers have reminded people there’s an easy way to nab pricey items that cost as much as £8 or £10 for free, when at the likes of Tesco. Social media users are urging shoppers to always scan their Clubcard at the checkout and then pay close attention to their receipts.
’ Similarly a mum named Chloe Hopkins recently shared that she had nabbed a £10 pack of Pampers pull ups for nothing. She posted: ‘Free pack of pulls ups when you scan your Clubcard at Tesco. . Llanelli Tesco but I believe this is across all stores.’ However, some shoppers pointed out that it’s important to read the full receipt before you try and claim your freebies, as there are often terms and conditions that apply — and where you shop makes a difference.
