The officer survived but suffered injuries to his ribs and legs as well as multiple scrapes and bruises.
He was awake and talking before being transported to a local hospital. He is currently in stable condition.
“We’re really, really lucky because he was clearly dragged about 200 feet backward and forward before being forced out of this vehicle,” Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said toSo far, no arrests have been made even though investigators were able to locate the driver’s last known address, according to reports.
Authorities are asking the public for help in locating the driver. Anyone with additional information on the driver’s whereabouts can contact Philadelphia police.
