Tesla Inc. relaunched its customer-referral program Thursday night, offering new rewards for purchases.
In a blog post, Tesla TSLA, +0.15% said both the referrer and the buyer will get 1,000 miles of free Supercharging per purchase, and be entered in quarterly drawings to win a special-edition Model Y or Roadster.Tesla had ended its popular referral program in January, saying at the time it cost too much, and that the program was unlikely to be revived because it hurt margins.
In February, CEO Elon Musk said the company is likely to post a loss in the first quarter, but could return to slim profitability in the second quarter.We Want to Hear from You Join the conversation
