Wildly unpredictable results. Teams regularly winning away from home. Runs being scored at a remarkable rate. Test cricket is in rare form. Now we just need the spinners to get a bowl.
Adelaide: Australia win by 10 wickets; India under the pump; the captain looking frail; the superstars looking a lot less super.A series that was billed as being evenly fought has been glorious in a flawed, imperfect and engrossingly entertaining manner. Bowlers have had their way for the most part, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Travis Head excepted and exceptional on pitches embedded with pace and bounce.
Mitchell Starc and his Australian teammates celebrate in Adelaide as the home side levelled the series. The first Test performances by most of the Australians hinted strongly at a lack of tough four-day contests to get physically and mentally ready. The second Test brought out some tougher minds and bodies. The best way to prepare for a game of cricket is to play cricket. Nets and rest won’t do the job well enough.

The Proteas towelled up Bangladesh at Mirpur and Chattogram after the Tigers had those two huge wins against Pakistan and drew the series in the West Indies.New Zealand beat India away but are struggling to match England at home.
