The Houston Texans hosted five players on a workout Tuesday and signed one - Geron Christian - to their practice squad.
Christian, a third-round pick in the 2018 draft by Washington, will be returning to Houston for his second stint. The Louisville Cardinals' product was a Texan in 2021, playing in 14 games while starting eight others.
Last year, Christian played in 10 games for the Kansas City Chiefs mainly on special teams, though, taking 55 of his 66 snaps in the third phase. Christian was inactive for each of his final six games with the Chiefs before being waived Jan. 4. Christian re-signed with the Dolphins in March but was released on Miami's final cutdown day at the end of the preseason. He has not appeared in a game this season.
