Three incidents involving children being shot by firearms occurred on Sunday in Fort Worth and Arlington.

Drive, near Mansfield Webb when the elder sibling, aged around 10 or 11 years old, found a .22-caliber rifle and fired at the boy. The boy was taken to the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center before being flown to Cook Children's Medical Center, where he remains in a serious condition. Another child, believed to be the victim's 6 or 7-year-old sister, was also injured after being hit by shrapnel.another teenager told police that the rifle was his and that the parents of the siblings were not aware it was in their home at the time.
