A Texas City teenager on Tuesday was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of murder in the death of a veteran during an armed carjacking in 2019, according to the Galveston County District Attorney's Office.

for his twin 3-year-old daughters. He also had two sons and another daughter, according to his family. Lee was an Air Force veteran and Mississippi native who had become disabled because of a head injury and subsequent spinal surgery, his family told the Galveston County Daily News in 2019.
