Ford flashed late in his sophomore season, recording 36 tackles over the final six games after tallying 17 across the first six. Despite the slow start, he led Texas with six tackles for loss and had the third-most total tackles. UT hasn’t fully been able to offset those losses so far. It signed just one freshman linebacker, Arlington Martin three-star Trevell Johnson, and hasn’t been able to add any available transfers to bolster the numbers.
