A Texas man from Bryan was sentenced to federal prison for receiving and possessing child pornography, including more than 300,000 images and 6,000 videos.

According to court records, he was sentenced to 30 years for the charges with the exception of 22 months, by U.S. District Judge David Hittner and will have to serve 10 years of supervised release when his imprisonment is finished.The 64-year-old will have to pay restitution to be determined at a later date to identify victims and register as a sex offender. Officials say during that time, he will have to comply with numerous requirements to restrict his access to children and the internet.
