Duangpetch Promthep, who was one of the 12 young boys rescued from a Thai cave in 2018 has tragically died in the United Kingdom.
Duangpetch Promthep's cause of death is not yet known although initial reports suggest he died after suffering a head injury.
Last August the teen announced on Instagram that he was travelling to England to play football after winning a scholarship. In 2018, he along with 12 other boys and their coach, became trapped in Tham Luang cave in northern Thailand. The incident gained international attention and sparked one of Thailand's biggest rescue operation's which involved thousands of rescuers from across the globe.
