The 23-year-old’s effort was well struck, but talkSPORT’s Scott Minto was left unimpressed with Romero’s efforts to block it.He said: “It’s too simple. It’s like the first goal at St James’ Park. There are three Spurs players, someone has to stop the shot. Make a block.“Just get closer to him! Get tighter! It’s wonderful from Sancho but it’s basic defending.”
talkSPORT commentator Sam Matterface said: “That’s embarrassing. It’s their first attack. It’s Jadon Sancho, you know what he’s going to do.”
